There is increased respect for the rights of disabled people through advocating the adoption, monitoring & enforcement of appropriate disability legislation; Government, NGO & private sector policies; & Cambodian ratification & adherence to the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

Programme Area 02: Representing the voice of Disabled People

The views of all disabled people in Cambodia are represented.

Programme Area 03: Rights Awareness

 Disabled people are aware of their own rights.

Programme Area 04: Awareness Raising and Visibility

Awareness amongst the general public & local, regional & national public & religious officials of the rights & abilities of disabled people is promoted at national, regional & local levels.

Programme Area 05: Advocacy and Rights Protection

Disabled people's rights are respected in all government & private institutions.

Programme Area 06: Organisational Development

An organisation is developed which, through high quality policies, practices and structures reflects the mission of CDPO and can achieve its objectives.

Programme Area 07: Support to DPOs

Provincial DPOs are able to play an active & effective role in supporting their members locally & in CDPO nationally.
