On June 20, 2025, the Cambodian Disabled People’s Organisation, in collaboration with Women’s Media Centre of Cambodia with under technical supported by UNESCO to provide a training course on “Disability Equality in the Media” attended by national media officials and independent journalists. This training aimed;
1) Equip information officers at national / subnational levels and Journalists can play an important role in promoting improvements on Disability Equality in the Media for person with disability to access to information.
2) Enhance capacity of information officers at national/ subnational levels and Journalists to better respond to the information needs of persons with disabilities.
